Rex showed up on our doorstep about 13 years ago. He was searching north Georgia for a fix for his trout fishing addiction and, like a lost puppy, we saw potential and took him in. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Rex has parlayed his passion into one of the most well-respected fly fishing guides and instructors in the country. His casting skills defy the imagination. I know of no other angler who has dedicated themselves so diligently to becoming among the best of the best. Sure, he was one of the first Federation of Fly Fishers Master Casting Instructors in the Southeast. But beyond that, he knows how to fish for just about any species that swims and he knows how to teach others those skills. Not all instructors are created equal!
